In a realm once vibrant with winter's beauty, where the crisp air hummed with life, a chilling frost has settled, not just on the land, but deep within the heart of its sovereign, the Ice Queen. Betrayal's fiery sting shattered her trust, and now her once benevolent magic isolates the kingdom in an echoing, eternal winter.
Yet, whispers persist around the 'frostfire,' an unexpected warmth born of genuine connection, said to possess the power to melt even the most frozen heart and restore balance to the land before the last embers of hope fade entirely.
From within this increasingly desolate kingdom emerges a Rebel Leader with a fiery soul. He remembers a time of warmth, community, and the Queen's radiant spirit. He has harbored a deep (and unspoken) love for her from afar. The current state of the kingdom pains him deeply, but he believes the Queen’s true nature still resides within, buried beneath the ice. Risking her icy wrath, his trusted contacts within the castle have secretly helped to organize The FrostFire Ball. The FrostFire Ball to him is a gathering of hope, an assembly of those who believe that the embers of empathy and understanding can ignite a 'frostfire' within the Queen's icy core.
However another emerges from the shadows: Princess Adara of House Ember reveals herself as the true orchestrator of the rebellion hiding behind the facade of the Rebel Leader. She claims the Ice Queen usurped her fiery lineage, extinguishing her rightful claim to the throne. The rebellion, it seems, is not merely a yearning for warmth, but a calculated move to reclaim what she believes is hers. She claims that she orchestrated the The FrostFire Ball and is using the Rebel Leader, as she plots to overthrow the queen for a crown she believes is hers. But a compelling question echoes through the frosted halls: Was her kingdom truly taken, or does the ambitious princess merely seek to carve out her own dominion from the icy empire?
Where will the Princesses plans to overthrow the queen actually end, when the The Rebel Leader, driven by a deep love for the Queen, believes her true nature is merely buried?
The FrostFire Ball is presented as a gathering of hope, an assembly of those who believe that the embers of empathy and understanding can ignite a 'frostfire' within the Queen's icy core, but it could be the Queens Downfall - only our guests can decide.

Ice Queen - Learea_Cosplay
Queen Alaina Serenwyn Vale, also known as "The Ice Queen"
The ruler of the Winter Vale. She will be at the FrostFire Ball in her throne room or the Queen's ballroom, speaking with her court. She is ethereal and impossibly regal, with skin like moonlit snow, lips touched with rose-ice, and eyes the color of frozen lakes. She wears gowns woven from snow silk and ancient enchantments, and a white saber cat named Snowflake is always by her side. Her personality is calm, commanding, and distant, but she is never unkind. The Queen's primary goal is to maintain peace for her realm and to protect her people and court from threats from the Rebel remnants. She acts the way she does because love once broke her, and ice was the only thing that could hold her together. Every decision she makes is to protect her people, her realm, and herself, as she cannot afford weakness again. While she denies it, she secretly wants to believe in love again. The Queen has several strong relationships within the kingdom. Rhyden and Alaina grew up as close friends, but not all friendships are built to last. Xilvyre is a childhood friend of Alaina and is one of the few people the Queen trusts with her life. The Queen saved Cyrene's life from a burning building, and Cyrene feels it is her purpose to serve as the General of the Queen's Army to repay her. The trio of Alaina, Xilvyre, and Floe (the Queen's handmaiden and best friend) are inseparable. She can be seen dancing in an elegant, haunting waltz like the drifting of snow. Guests who dance with her may feel chilled to the bone or warmed by forgotten dreams. She will never warm her hands by fire, believes tea should always be served cold, and can identify any snowflake by memory. Her emotions shift the weather; sorrow brings flurries, and anger brings blizzards.
Rebel Leader - M.M.Wyatt
Rhyden Alaric Vulcrest- The rebel leader nicknamed "The Ember Marked”
Rhyden Alaric Vulcrest- The rebel leader nicknamed "The Ember Marked," will be at the FrostFire Ball gathering with fellow rebels. His skin is shattered like porcelain, with a fire-like spirit seen where pieces have fallen away on his face, neck, and chest. Rhyden is known to be charismatic, intense, and fearless, but he hides a deep sorrow. He is often seen wearing colors of brown, red, orange, and yellow, and carries a sword named Ash-breaker. Rhyden's mission at the ball is to secure freedom for his rebellion, his people, and his culture. Ultimately, his biggest goal is to "thaw" the heart of his friend, the Queen. Rhyden and the Queen, Alaina, grew up together as close friends until she fell in love with someone else, and in a moment of rejection, her icy powers shattered his skin. He carries a ribbon that was used to tie the Queen's childhood hair back. Rhyden can be found in the rebel sanctuary or dancing in the halls and on the dance floor. He may be wearing a cloak, cape, or scarf to hide his face partially.

Princess Adara, a High Fae Princess
Princess Adara, a High Fae Princess, will be in the Rebel Lounge at the FrostFire Ball. She has red wine hair, fiery red eyes, and crystallized embers on her skin. She dresses like a princess, even while in hiding. Known as the kind princess who would help any of the Rebel families, she is now losing a bit of her humanity every day the Queen reigns. Princess Adara wants the throne that should have been hers, and she wants the Ice Queen gone. Her primary motivation is revenge for her father's life, which the Queen took. She was forced into hiding after her father was taken and saw a whole village frozen due to the Queen's anger. She believes the Queen is evil and lacks a heart to thaw. Her long-term goal is to seek alliances and be crowned, with the hope that fire will prevail and thaw the ice. Princess Adara is aligned with the rebels and seeks to overthrow the Queen. She is "not on good terms" with Seryza. She has a feud with Seryza, which becomes apparent if you mention Seryza's name. When Seryza's name is mentioned, you will get an eye roll. Princess Adara is playful and gives fire bracelets made from embers to those helping the rebel cause. When someone yells "ice," she will duck or go into hiding.
Queen’s Agent Xilvyre - Stacy K.
Xilvyre Shadove- a Fae-born Queen's Agent
Xilvyre Shadove- will be constantanly looking to gather intel on the rebels. You will know when she is undercover when you spot her with her hood up. Her goal at the ball is to protect the Queen and secure her place on the throne. As a skilled fighter and spy, Xilvyre is determined and fiercely loyal to the Queen. When among strangers, she typically appears serious, secretive, and mysterious. Xilvyre has several strong bonds within the kingdom. She is a childhood friend of Alaina, the Ice Queen, and is one of the few people the Queen trusts wholeheartedly. She is also best friends with Cyrene, the Queen's general, with whom she became close by treating her like a regular person and not reacting to her powers. Additionally, Xilvyre shares a sisterly bond with Floe, the Queen's Handmaiden. However, Xilvyre has a known rival in Seryza. She exposed Seryza after she stole the Queen's crown and left her with a scar on her face as a reminder that she was outmatched.
Rogue Seryza - Kickasskimikat
Seryza Varneth, also known as "Ashstep"
Seryza Varneth, also known as "Ashstep," is a thief rogue. She will be found in the Rebel Sanctuary, where she might be seen stealing a glance at her old friend, Princess Adara, or stealing a drink. She can also be found outside the sanctuary, keeping an eye out for Xilvyre or for nobles to pickpocket. She may be seen in the halls or ballroom, planning her next heist and watching the Ice Queen's every move. Seryza has pink skin and pink, curly hair that is shaved on the sides. She has red eyes and a scar on her right cheek. She is described as sarcastic, cocky, and dangerously charming. Seryza always has a lockpick or toothpick in her mouth and is known for her witty comebacks and sarcasm. She also always carries the stolen crown with her. Seryza's goal is to show the Queen what it's like to lose something valuable and to prove that she is not untouchable. She is driven by a desire for justice and revenge, fueled by loss and hardship. Seryza wants to be known as someone who changed things and not just as a thief. Her actions are motivated by the betrayal she experienced from people she once trusted and a desire to restore power to others. Seryza is not part of the rebel group because it has too many rules, but she is closer to their side and wants to overthrow the Queen. She has a complicated relationship with Princess Adara, who was once a close friend of hers. Seryza says of Adara, "We used to be fire & laughter. Now we're just smoke & silence". Adara didn't betray her, but also didn't come to her aid. Seryza's main enemies are the Queen and her agent, Xilvyre. She refers to Xilvyre as a traitor who "played me, cut me, and left me to bleed". Seryza's scar on her right cheek is a result of being set up and framed by Xilvyre. She stole the Queen's crown to make a statement and to show that the people are "done kneeling".

General Cyrene Rowlyn
The Ice Queen’s general can be found patrolling the Queen's ballroom, keeping a watch on the room, and standing guard at doorways. She has icy silver hair and red/orange eyes, with a scar running through her left eye. Cyrene's ultimate purpose is to repay the Queen for saving her life. Her loyalty to the Queen is what drives her. While she is a general, she is also a friend to the Queen. You can also find her swiping sweets throughout the night. Cyrene is a friend of the Queen, whom she serves as a shield, protecting her from any harm. Cyrene is also best friends with Xilvyre, the Queen's agent, who treats her no differently because of her powers. Cyrene has the ability to manipulate shadows and people's minds with illusions.
Rebel Spy Kali - Dress_up_Rae
Kali
Kali- is a spy for the rebels. She is cunning, resourceful, and adept at gathering information. Her motivations align with the broader rebel goals, though perhaps with a unique personal stake or perspective. She would be an excellent character for guests to try and gather intelligence from, or to recruit for their own agendas - She’s quite adept at learning all of your secrets, and those of others, but doesn’t give up her own easily.
Lady in Waiting Floe - Anastasia.Reverie
Florinda Chillwether, or “Floe”
Florinda Chillwether, or Floe, is The Ice Queen’s best friend and handmaiden. She will be keeping a watchful eye and encouraging her friend the Ice Queen during the ball. She can also be found socializing and mingling with others, as she enjoys making new friends. Floe is bubbly, excitable, friendly to everyone, and gracious. She has golden-brown hair and brown eyes, accentuated with icy-white makeup. Floe is a long-standing member of the Queen's Court and grew up as a noble. Because she doesn't get out much, she finds new things fascinating. Floe wants the Queen to be happy and for the kingdom to know her for who she is. She believes that hosting the FrostFire Ball is just what the Queen needs to feel joy once more and "break the spell" that clouds her disposition. Her short-term goal is to find a way to help the Queen regain her happiness and return to her old self. Her long-term goal is to support the Queen in her rule over the kingdom and make new friends. Floe is fiercely loyal to the Queen and will do whatever she can to support her. Her actions reflect what she believes is in the Queen's best interest. Floe's closest relationship is with the Ice Queen, with whom she has been friends since childhood. She considers the Queen to be her "entire world". Floe is also like a sister to Xilvyre, another childhood friend. As a noble, Floe provides Xilvyre with information about key political players in the Court and offers advice on how to conduct herself at formal events. Floe is aware of the pain the Queen is in, but she is not aware of what is happening outside the palace walls. Her affection for the Queen might be blinding her to the very real issues the kingdom faces.
General Ria- Valkyrie.Kae
General Ria
General Ria- One of two Rebel Army Generals, can be found in and around the rebel sanctuary, planning and keeping guard. She will also be roaming the halls and the ballroom floor, hoping to encounter the men who hurt her or the Queen herself. Ria is tall, with a muscular and toned build. She has heterochromia eyes, tattoos, and a scar across the right side of her face and over her body. She is serious and sometimes funny, but can also be harsh. Ria wants her people to know what freedom and peace are. She is driven by the hope she sees in children's faces, which pushes her to create a safer place for them. Her long-term goal is to overthrow the Queen. Her past, where the Queen's men hurt her, influences her feelings toward the entire Ice Kingdom. This experience makes her very protective of her people. Ria has a "ride or die" relationship with the Rebel Leader, who found her after the Queen's men hurt her and took her in. Ria also has a "sister dynamic" with Solara, another general. They have a "love/loathe" relationship with very different views on the situation. When Solara is mentioned, Ria might say, "She means well..." or "She's a good fighter but not like me." Ria and Xilvyre are sparring partners. Her biggest opponents are the Queen and the men who hurt her. When the name "Ice Queen" is mentioned, disgust fills her voice.
General Solara - Eternal_cursebreaker
Solara Ashbane- a Rebellion General
Solara is the fiery and loyal general of the rebellion, driven by a deep love for the Rebel Leader and a desire to see a new era of peace for the kingdom. She is almost always at the Rebel Leader's side, and her primary focus at the FrostFire Ball is to ensure the rebellion succeeds and the Rebel Leader does not reconcile with the Queen. A woman of action and strategy, Solara is terrible at sitting still and never sleeps lying down, as she considers it too vulnerable. She's a tactical and calculated individual who is also known for being sassy, fiery, brave, and confident. Solara's ultimate goal is to replace the current Queen with the Rebel Leader. This ambition is fueled by a mix of emotions: a deep-seated love for the Rebel Leader, hostility towards the Queen, and a desire for him to finally see her as more than just his "weapon" or "right hand." She resents the Queen for letting the kingdom fall and views her as a danger whose grief smothers her people. While others might hope to redeem the Queen, Solara is prepared to replace her. Once inseparable friends, Solara grew up alongside the Rebel Leader and the Queen. While they had powerful magic, Solara's gifts lay in strategy and her unmatched skill with a blade. When the kingdom fell, the Rebel Leader turned to her and named her his General. Despite her loyalty and years of unrequited love, Solara knows the Rebel Leader is still in love with the Queen, which she sees as a liability for the rebellion. She carries a pendant on a necklace, a gift from the Rebel Leader, and finds she does her best thinking when sharpening her blade.
